Farr Family Happenings
It has been a REALLY long time since I have posted. There is no way I'll be able to remember everything that has happened the last few months but I will definitely mention the highlights. :)
Alice
This little munchkin is now 9 1/2 months old. She is crawling, standing/sitting up, eating solid foods, has her two bottom teeth and getting to be such a big girl! At her last appointment she measured tall, skinny, with a big head, but this "little one" is our pride and joy. She is constantly keeping us on our toes and we love her so much. Her favorite things right now are rolling her tongue, drooling/putting everything in her mouth, eating, saying 'da da' and playing, playing playing! She is constantly on the go, so much so she hates taking the time to nap. But we love our little Ali-Bug and the joy that she brings into our home and life.
Me and Shane
Shane and I are both very blessed. Not only to have each other, Alice, the gospel, amazing families, a wonderful home, etc. But we each have great jobs as well. He is still at Swinyer-Woseth Dermatology and I got a new job at 1-800 Contacts. Shane continues to learn and master being an M.A and I'm still learning the ways of being a Client Service Representative. I've been at 1-800 since September. I couldn't stay at APA (the school I was working at) because of the day time hours. At 1-800 I work in the afternoon until the late evening so Alice only has to be watched by a babysitter until Shane gets home. I am really like the job and the people and eventually, I hope to be an at-home agent and work from home. So right now, Shane and I don't see much of each other which has been challenging, but it is worth being there for Alice so she has at least one of us most of the day.
Shane unfortunately did not get into PA school at the U this year. We are still waiting to hear from 3 other schools- one in Oregon and two in California. We will let you know when we hear anything.
We also celebrated our 4th year anniversary on Tuesday the 13th. Time has flown by and I never thought I would love Shane more that when we were sealed in the Salt Lake temple but boy, was I mistaken. We are more in love than ever and I can't believe God was gracious enough to give me a man that loves me unconditionally and that I get to keep forever. As I told Shane Tuesday, it's a really good thing we have forever because time is simply not long enough to be with him.
One last big change-I chopped my hair off! I will post pictures as soon as I have some. Thanks for reading!
